- Tony is collaborating with Indian Slide Guitar Master Vishwa Mohan Bhatt on his new album "The Light Within"
V.M.BHatt can be seen on Eric Clapton's Crossroads Music Festival DVD and has also won a Grammy with Ry Cooder on there album "A meeting by the River."
- On Demand channel 300 Brighthouse Networks (Mustard Seed telethon) I play a song from my first album with the house band all this week and next week.

- 10/19/2006 - Tony Smotherman is now signed with Vision Sound Records and Vision Sound is releasing Tony's new debut cd "The light Within." "The light Within" will be released in December and will feature and array of World-Class musicians including Keyboard Virtuoso Derek Sherinian (Ex-DreamTheater, Planet X, Malmsteen ),World reknowned bassist Jon Reshard (Greg Howe), and World-Class Drummer Bruce Royal.
